Our Initiative:
To raise awareness about the San Francisco ambulance shortage and increase funding towards San Francisco emergency services in an effort to give every SF citizen access to emergency healthcare.

Background and Motivation

Why help us?
We have personally experienced the devastating effects of the ambulance shortage. In early 2017, our grandmother Anna Fong collapsed on a sidewalk in Chinatown due to an aneurism. The ambulance took 21 minutes to arrive, which is over double the recommended time to attend to an unconscious individual. Her blood pressure was 300 mmHg, so she did not have a chance at survival. Had they come sooner, it's likely she would still be with us today. This is not an isolated incident, and many lives have been lost to this shortage. Our organization strives to combat the issue and prevent future incidents like this one. It is time for change.
How can you help us?
There are many ways for you to help our cause. Please support us and fight to gain the citizens of San Francisco much needed emergency medical service.
